The Nitrum is the lightest adjustable aluminium chair on the market at just 5.2kg lifting weight. The Nitrum is for users who need pushing efficiency and a lightweight design. it is a revolutionary Wheelchair that minimises propulsion effort whilst maximising movement.

The Quickie Nitrum has a patented oval frame tubing that means fewer stress points due to its elongated sides. It is stronger and therefore it’s less likely to flex under pressure and also means it’s lighter as the shape uses less material.

The Quickie Nitrum is made from high strength Premium 7020 Aluminium. The frame is specially heat-treated using the ShapeLoc technology, so the tubing can be significantly thinner and lighter without any sacrifice to its strength.

The Nitrum is hand welded into one complete frame, so you get a stiffer and lighter ride.

The forged aluminium backrest bracket on the Quickie Nitrum is extremely stiff so it’s much more energy efficient without sacrificing the adjustability of the backrest angle or height.

The Nitrum can be adjustable to for each user. Your body positioning is crucial for propulsion efficiency. When your weight is balanced incorrectly your wheelchair is harder to push. This is why the Nitrum boasts the largest range of sizes and adjustments in its class, to make sure you get the perfect fit.

The Quickie Nitrum has the first integrated LEDs with a removable battery. They are mounted on both castor arms and have 3 modes (high, low and blink). The battery pack has up to 4 hours of charge and can be easily detached to charge or to save 110g in weight.
