Why do some products have 2 different prices displayed, for in-store vs online purchases?

This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. This is reflected in the difference of prices online vs in store. Most online products are also drop-shipped directly from the manufacturers as kerb side delivery so this will have to be unboxed and set up by the purchaser. The Q6 Edge HD with TB3 Seating is Quantum’s premier bariatric Mid-Wheel Drive Powerchair, featuring the powerful Edge base. The chair’s safe weight capacity is 32 stone (204kg) with seat widths up to 32 inches available. This Powerchair is priced far lower than most competing bariatric chairs, whilst not cutting corners on capacity.

A better bariatric

Powered positioning options are available, such as the iLevel lift that allows you to drive at walking pace whilst elevated up to 45° of powered tilt, and 175° lie-flat recline, which is very rare on bariatric Powerchairs.

Mid-Wheel 6® allows six wheels on the ground for maximum stability. Meanwhile the low impact OMNI-Casters (nylon, and sphere-shaped) prevent wheel hang-ups both back and front.

What’s more, the ATX Suspension (Active-Trac® with extra stability) incorporates front OMNI-Casters and a semi-independent rear caster beam for enhanced performance over more varied terrain.

So much as standard

This heavy-duty chair is surprisingly light-footed, with a mere 502mm turning circle without front riggings. You get to have even more say in the driving experience with both solid or pneumatic tyres available for this Powerchair.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
