In-Store Vs Online Prices

Why do some products have 2 different prices displayed, for in-store vs online purchases?

This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. This is reflected in the difference of prices online vs in store. Most online products are also drop-shipped directly from the manufacturers as kerb side delivery so this will have to be unboxed and set up by the purchaser. This is the case with variably-priced products. Prescriptive items in particular, e.g. powerchairs, have a base price which can vary greatly from the price with cost add-ons. For all variable products, the in-store price shown is the in-store price for the base model, i.e. the lowest-cost version of the product. The Edge 3 is the culmination of 8 years of product improvement and innovation from Quantum. Perfect for users who spend long periods of time in their Powerchair, it features smooth ride suspension and a seat cushion that provides a smooth and comfortable ride. 

Always there for you

Mid-Wheel Drive means this Powerchair is highly manoeuvrable. It has an impressive turning radius of just 52.1cm, which makes it ideal for use both indoors and out. 

The Edge 3 is as practical as it is stylish. Its modern design is complemented by its easy-to-use controls, flip-up armrests, an adjustable foot platform and LED fender lights. 

It features a tie-down system for your convenience. This system permits safe and simple transportation should you wish to pop your chair in the boot of a car for trips away. 

As is usual for Powerchairs, many optional extras are available, so you can have your dream build.

Letting there be light

LED fender lights come as standard on the Edge 3. Mounted to the fender above the drive tire on each side of the Powerchair, these lights help  you to see and be seen. The slim-line fender integration creates ultimate compactness and durability. They’re extremely bright and have a long-life. The front lighting is white and the rear tail light is red. Also, the light positioning increases pedestrian visibility from a wide range of angles.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
