Why do some products have 2 different prices displayed, for in-store vs online purchases?

This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. The Quickie Xenon 2 Hybrid has a reinforced fixed-front frame. This creates maximum rigidity, as well as efficient performance for users. The Xenon 2 Hybrid is ultra-lightweight. This wheelchair that weighs under 9.5kg. We’re sure you’ll agree that this is extremely impressive!

Top-end Transport

The Quickie Xenon 2 Hybrid has a new unique cross-brace. When combined with the redesigned axle stem, this makes it very easy to fold and transport.

The Xenon 2 combines ShapeLoc Technology with ovalised tubing to create a strong and extremely lightweight folding wheelchair frame that has a maximum user weight of 140kg.

The Xenon 2 has a unique design with a cross-brace frame that sits neatly under the seat and is hardly noticeable, giving it an open-frame feel that you’d usually associate with an active rigid wheelchair. The redesigned axle stem, combined with the cross-brace, provides a stiff and stable driving performance feel that you would also usually get from a rigid frame, but with all the features of a folding wheelchair

Personalise the Xenon² with a wide variety of 32 frame colours to choose from. There’s also five distinctive anodised styles for the castor fork and wheels. There’s also the option to match or contrast the upholstery trim colour of the EXO backrest upholstery to the wheelchair.

The Xenon² comes in 3 different models, the portable Xenon² SA above, the streamlined design of the Xenon² FF, or the reinforced rigidity of the Xenon² Hybrid.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
