Why do some products have 2 different prices displayed, for in-store vs online purchases?

This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. This is reflected in the difference of prices online vs in store. Most online products are also drop-shipped directly from the manufacturers as kerb side delivery so this will have to be unboxed and set up by the purchaser. The Pride Elite Traveller LX Mobility Scooter is from Pride’s 4mph boot scooter range. It disassembles easily into 5 manageable pieces for ease of storage for transporting in your car boot or similar. The heaviest single part weighs under 18kg when the scooter is taken apart. This Pride boot scooter has an impressive maximum user weight of 19st 9bs

The Elite Traveller LX includes luxurious features such as a tiller charging port, meaning users can charge the airsafe battery on or off-board, saving you from having to remove the battery each time you need to power up this electric scooter. You get two options with the sealed non-spill lead acid battery in this scooter. 12 or 18Ah options give you a range of 8 or 12 miles respectively on a full charge.

Additional features which enhance this mobility scooter include a large storage basket and an LED kerb light

Can I drive this mobility scooter on the road?

Can this scooter be driven off road?

As a smaller boot scooter, this mobility scooter is not specifically designed for off-road (or off-pavement) use. However, it should handle short, dry grass with minimal slopes.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
