LuXe CarbonLite Lightweight Foldable Mobility Scooter
The LuXe CarbonLite folding scooter delivers on the promise of what a lightweight folding mobility scooter ought to be. When it comes to selecting a fold up scooter, weight is naturally a big consideration. Folding mobility scooters are designed to fit easily into small spaces, for transport (think car boots etc). However, they aren’t always as light as people expect.
Well, we’re confident that the CarbonLite folding scooter is lighter than you’d expect a foldable electric scooter to be. It’s a mere 19kg without armrests.

Built for Convenience
And this fold up scooter isn’t just convenient for you to handle, it’s supremely versatile when it comes to getting you places. A generous 1.5” ground clearance combined with puncture-proof solid tyres let it handle a variety of terrains. The actual act of folding the LuXe CarbonLite is so straightforward. Thanks to intuitive design and the lightness of the carbon fibre chassis, you can have this scooter ready to store or ride in under a minute.
Lightweight construction doesn’t leave this model light on performance either. It has an impressive 22 stone (140kg) maximum user weight and gives you up to 12 miles range on a single charge. Naturally, the easy-to-remove batteries are air safe, so you can take your new fold away product on flights abroad. The longer-life lithium batteries on the CarbonLite folding scooter can be charged on-board or off-board – yet another convenient design aspect.
FAQs
Can I try before I buy?
Yes! You can always pop into one of our stores to try any product. If you are unable to make it into one of our stores, please get in touch and we can arrange a free home demonstration.
Can my scooter be transported on an aeroplane?
Yes, this is an airline safe product!
Can it be used in the rain?
We don’t recommend that our powered mobility products are stored or used in the rain unless appropriate covering/shelter is used.
What accessories are compatible with this product?
A generic range of accessories including carry bags / weather protection and clothing is available HERE
Does this scooter come fully assembled?
Like most folding scooters, the LuXe CarbonLite Carbon Fibre Lightweight Folding Mobility Scooter largely comes in one piece – all you’ll need to do is slot the arms into the side of the chair. Nothing to worry about in terms of assembly!
Is this scooter suitable for off-road use?
Folding and take down scooters are not designed for extensive off-road use. This is partly down to their having limited suspension, which makes the ride less smooth than it might be with a larger scooter. This mobility scooter has a good ground clearance (1.5″) relative to other lightweight folding mobility scooters, so it’s better equipped than many to ride around your garden in.
Do the seat arms adjust?
Yes, they can be extended outwards from the seat, or even removed entirely. The armrests also flip up if needed.
Does this scooter have off-board charging for the batteries?
The batteries on the LuXe CarbonLite Carbon Fibre Lightweight Folding Mobility Scooter can be removed and charged offboard, for your convenience.
Can I get a discount code?
We are currently running a discount code on this product – simply use CarbonLite100 at checkout, as per our homepage
Can I drive this scooter up steps?
This is a great scooter, but no scooter is really designed to drive up a flight of steps – it’ll handle drop kerbs just fine though.
Do I need a license or insurance to ride a mobility scooter?
No, you do not need a driving license to ride a mobility scooter. While insurance is not mandatory, it is recommended to cover theft, damage, and liability. Class 3 (road-legal) mobility scooters must be registered with the DVLA. However, you are not required to buy insurance for them. Follow this link for additional guidance.
Why is “up to” used with mobility scooter range figures?
Mobility scooter range is generally calculated under test conditions, which are not easily replicated in the real world. This means that the scooter will be used on an entirely flat surface, with ideal weather conditions and with a minimal user weight. Because of this, scooters tend not to meet their entire stated range outside factory conditions. So, to accurately reflect real world ranges, we provide our figures as “up to”
