Single motor riser recliners have all their motions controlled by a single motor, whereas dual motor chairs have their motions controlled by two motors. This means that single motor riser recliners cannot perform multiple actions simultaneously. So, a dual motor chair can have the backrest and footrest adjust independently of one another and simultaneously, unlike a single motor option.

Whilst the LuXe Mobility Lilybrooke Single Motor Riser Recliner is capable of reaching a nearly horizontal orientation, it isn’t recommended for extended sleeping use. That’s not to say that it’s unsuitable for naps, of course. It’s just to note that it is important to be aware of your individual pressure needs when using this or any other riser recliner chair out there on the UK market.
