Powering Independent Living
The Invacare E-Motion DuoDrive wheels combine active mobility with therapeutic benefits. Wheelchair users with limited strength can move independently again thanks to these wheels.
The electric motors of the E-Motion are integrated into the wheel hubs which effectively support the wheelchair user’s pushing movement. A lot less power is enough to master longer distances or inclines. Note that the E-Motion can handle inclines of up to 5.7 degrees. This significantly increases your own radius of action.
Mastering everyday life can often require considerable physical effort for wheelchair users, this effort sometimes becomes almost unsustainable with progression of age or illness.
Master Your Route
The electric E-Motion add-on drive wheels are the the ideal solution to master the challenge. Every pulse on the push rim is registered by a highly sensitive sensor and translated into the perfect amount of power assistance.
As a result propelling your manual wheelchair becomes much easier.

Engineer’s Delivery – For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.
This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.
You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
Delivery of Bespoke Made to Order Products
Please note prescriptive/bespoke products can take anywhere between 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered. Your trusted mobility assessor will be able to provide a more accurate lead time on completion of the initial assessment.
