Why do some products have 2 different prices displayed, for in-store vs online purchases?

This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. This is reflected in the difference of prices online vs in store. Most online products are also drop-shipped directly from the manufacturers as kerb side delivery so this will have to be unboxed and set up by the purchaser. This is the case with variably-priced products. Prescriptive items in particular, e.g. powerchairs, have a base price which can vary greatly from the price with cost add-ons. For all variable products, the in-store price shown is the in-store price for the base model, i.e. the lowest-cost version of the product. Very very versatile

The Alber E-Fix E35 features a neatly concealed motor. This is extremely discreetly hidden in the wheel hubs. It can be fitted to nearly all current types of manual wheelchairs.

If required your chair can still be easily pushed by hand. Invacare’s e-fix E35 features lightweight components and wonderfully sleek hand control. You’ll also find a compact battery and powerful drive wheels that are simple to remove for easy transportation.

Convenience for your chair

Thanks to a low weight, this accessory is ideal for transporting along with your chair. With no tools required for assembly, users will certainly find it straightforward. The product’s release fasteners are quick and simple to use. Thus, this accessory is as easy to disassemble and reassemble as you could wish for.

Manoeuvring in narrow spaces is effortless. You are sure to be impressed by the power and safety with which this accessory lets you turn on the spot safely and powerfully. Also, the battery mount is brilliantly well-designed. Only one hand will be more than enough for both installation and removal. In fact, most folding wheelchairs can even be folded with the battery still in place.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
