A Lightweight Scooter Great for the Car Boot
The Motion Healthcare Alumina is an-ever popular lightweight mobility scooter on the UK market. The heaviest single part of this boot scooter is under 10kg. The entire thing, battery and all, is a mere 33kg, and is so easy to take apart for ease of transportation. The Alumina has been upgraded to have top level charge sockets, front lights, softer suspension, super soft tyres and a new easy lift T bar handle to make disassembly as easy as possible. The Alumina has a surprisingly high maximum user weight of 21 stone. With super-soft full suspension and softer solid tyres, this is a smooth and comfortable mobility scooter to use.
The Alumina provides riders with a full 2 inches of ground clearance, an unusually large amount for a pavement scooter.
In short, the Alumina offers the innovation of both an aluminium chassis and lithium battery technology.
A Bit More About the Battery
This little electric scooter can do over 13 miles in travel range on a single charge. There is the option of an additional smaller battery pack if you need an airsafe scooter. While we’re on the topic of the battery, the Motion Healthcare Alumina gives you the choice of onboard or offboard charging.

Can I try before I buy?
Yes! You can always pop into one of our stores to try any product. If you are unable to make it into one of our stores, please get in touch and we can arrange a free home demonstration.
Can it be used in the rain?
We don’t recommend that our powered mobility products are stored or used in the rain unless appropriate covering/shelter is used.
What accessories are compatible with this product?

Can my scooter be transported on an aeroplane?
Yes, this is an airline safe product!
Do you rent mobility scooters?
Yes, we do rent mobility scooters from some of our stores. You will need to get in touch with individual stores ahead of time in order to check what products they have available, and what their current rates are. Rental scooters must be collected in person from one of our stores, unless explicitly agreed otherwise

Engineer’s Delivery – For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.
This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.
You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
Delivery of Bespoke Made to Order Products
Please note prescriptive/bespoke products can take anywhere between 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered. Your trusted mobility assessor will be able to provide a more accurate lead time on completion of the initial assessment.
