The Strongback addresses the issue of suboptimal posture by introducing a contoured supportive backrest and an enhanced seat angle that thwarts slipping and leaning forward. This design compels the shoulders backward, elevates the chest, expands the lungs, and advocates for an upright and healthful posture.
Crafted with consideration for caregivers, the robust yet lightweight aluminium construction facilitates easy lifting and transportation. Thoughtful placement of the push handles ensures an optimal stance for pushing, while the attendant-controlled brakes instil confidence and control. Additional standard features comprise a folding backrest, quick-release wheels, and puncture-proof tires, embodying a comprehensive solution for both user comfort and caregiver convenience.

Engineer’s Delivery – For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.
This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.
You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
Delivery of Bespoke Made to Order Products
Please note prescriptive/bespoke products can take anywhere between 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered. Your trusted mobility assessor will be able to provide a more accurate lead time on completion of the initial assessment.

It’s very hard to go wrong with a wheelchair considering it is just a chair with wheels (funny that). But the same can be true with getting it right, this is a solid no nonsense chair that folds easily and does everything I want/need it to.
