Lightweight Fixed Frame Active Wheelchair
The Quickie Xenon 2 Fixed Frame Wheelchair weighs only 8.8kg making it the lightest aluminium wheelchair on the market. It has a new unique cross-brace that combined with a redesigned axle stem makes it very easy to fold and transport. The Xenon²2 FF is the perfect wheelchair for users with an active lifestyle who want an ultra-lightweight yet stiff wheelchair for maximum driving performance.
The Xenon’s lightweight folding frame is 7000 series aerospace aluminium. It also has ShapeLoc Technology that increases its strength and allows for thinner tube walls which decreases the overall weight.
The Xenon 2 combines the ShapeLoc Technology with ovalized tubing to create a strong and extremely lightweight folding wheelchair frame.
The Xenon 2 has a unique design with a cross-brace frame that sits neatly under the seat and is hardly noticeable, giving it an open-frame feel that you’d usually associate with an active rigid wheelchair. The redesigned axle stem, combined with the cross-brace, provide a stiff and stable driving performance feel that you would also usually get from a rigid frame, but with all the features of a folding wheelchair.
Personalise the Xenon² with a wide variety of 32 frame colours to choose from. There’s also five distinctive anodised styles for the castor fork and wheels. There’s also the option to match or contrast the upholstery trim colour of the EXO backrest upholstery to the wheelchair.
