The design of the Quickie Krypton has evolved over the last 40 years, with the engineers using numerous lightweight materials and manufacturing processes to create the ultimate lightweight energy efficient wheelchair.
The Quickie Krypton is made of lightweight carbon and has X Braid technology that has never been used before in wheelchairs.
The Krypton F is built for convenience and is the lightest adjustable wheelchair in the world and folds down to create ease whilst transporting.
The Krypton F has a folding cross-brace which is the most advanced cross-brace from Quickie but is also extremely lightweight. The Quickie Krypton F is 500g lighter than the Quickie Xenon-FF.
When the Quickie Krypton F is folded, users can remove the wheels or stow the wheelchair in a folded position. The fold-down back option can create an even more compact folded wheelchair.
The Quickie Krypton F is made from commissioned Carbon. The engineers understand that everyone is a different shape and size and want the wheelchair to be bespoke to each use. They have therefore created the wheelchair where there is over 10,000 configuration possibilities for the Krypton! The Quickie Krypton F comes with carbon options that complement the frame tube to cater for many demands and preferences.
The Krypton also comes with a choice of frame options that can either be left raw or coated to offer a premium look. These include Transparent gloss, Transparent matt, Black gloss or Black matt.
