FAQs

What colour options are available for this scooter?

This scooter is available in blue or bronze

Does this scooter have any USB charging ports?

Yes, there is a USB charging port built into the tiller

Can I get a rain canopy for this scooter?

There is currently no rain canopy available for this scooter. Be assured that, should this change in the future, Lifestyle & Mobility will be the first to let you know!

Would this be considered to be a budget or premium scooter?

This would be considered a high-performance off-road scooter, so it would fall on the premium side of that divide.

What accessories are available for this scooter?

We offer a wide range of scooter accessories, some of which are available at a discounted rate when purchased alongside one of our scooters.

Can I drive this mobility scooter on the road?

Yes, this is a road-legal 8mph Class 3 mobility scooter.

Note also that you don’t need a driving licence to operate a mobility scooter, as they are classified as “invalid carriages” rather than motor vehicles. Other things to consider:
– Registration: Some mobility scooters must be registered with the DVLA.
– Age: You must be at least 14 years old to use a mobility scooter.
– Road Safety: A road safety course is recommended, especially for those who haven’t driven before.
– Insurance: Not legally required, but advisable for protection in case of an accident.

How is scooter range calculated?

Scooter range is generally calculated under test conditions, which are not easily replicated in the real world. This means that the scooter will be used on an entirely flat surface, with ideal weather conditions and with a minimal user weight. Because of this, scooters tend not to meet their entire stated range outside factory conditions.

Can this scooter be driven off road?

Yes, this scooter is designed to handle more rugged and challenging terrain than the large majority of mobility scooters. If you are looking for an off-road capable mobility scooter, it is worth considering this product.

Do you stock anything particularly recommended for cold weather use with this scooter?

We would particularly recommend the Splash Scooter Cosy and the Lined Splash Deluxe Sleeved Universal Poncho for use in cold and wet weather alike.

Do you sell wet weather accessories for this scooter?

Of course. With rainy weather being a constant possibility in the UK, we stock a wide range of wet weather coverings for all your outdoor mobility scooter needs.

I am surprised how well this model handles off road even when going at 8mph full pelt.
  2. Peta Osbourne, 2 years ago

A rugged scooter, goes where I need it to go whilst remaining a comfortable ride.
  3. Sophia Brown, 2 years ago

Wrangler 2?! Where was the first?! You mean I have been years without a scooter like this when I could've had this sooner?! Oh well... It was way worth the wait!
  4. Samuel Clark, 2 years ago

My old Ranger scooter was a beast but after getting into an accident I needed a new one, what better than to buy the upgraded and just overall better version. This was absolutely worth the price in every single way.
