In fact, this powered wheelchair folds into a suitcase-style configuration. All the better to travel with. And it’s all the better to travel on. a maximum user weight just north of 17 stone and a nice bit of padding built into the chair cushions.
The Xalt Remote Control Powerchair is designed to fold up both ergonomically, and for stability. It is so easy to fold up your Xalt and stow it away in all manner of spaces, when not using it. On the topic of storage, the chair itself incorporates useful storage space for you. There’s a bag incorporated into the seat back fabric. Although you’ll probably want to use it quite a bit! And, with a very respectable 6 mile maximum range per battery charge, you can enjoy a decent trip length.

Can I try before I buy?
Yes! You can always pop into one of our stores to try any product. If you are unable to make it into one of our stores, please get in touch and we can arrange a free home demonstration.
Can it be used in the rain?
We don’t recommend that our powered mobility products are stored or used in the rain unless appropriate covering/shelter is used.

Why is “up to” used with powerchair range figures?
Powerchair range is generally calculated under test conditions, which are not easily replicated in the real world. This means that the powerchair will be used on an entirely flat surface, with ideal weather conditions and with a minimal user weight. Because of this, powerchairs tend not to meet their entire stated range outside factory conditions. So, to accurately reflect real world ranges, we provide our figures as “up to”.
