This is because it reflects certain benefits you will receive buying in store vs online. Those include having having expert advice at hand in our stores to ensure you purchase the right product for your needs. Our experts can assess your requirements, demonstrate products, and also you can try-before-you-buy. It also means we can set the product up for you and you can take the item home the same day. The aftercare received from your local store will also allow you to be worry-free. To this end, the warranty cover on in-store purchases is substantially more extensive than with online purchases.

In order for us to provide our customers with all the desirable features from our industry-leading stores we have additional costs that allow us to provide the service required. The scooter weighs a lightweight 21.5kg, allowing users to store the scooter free of charge when travelling by coach. The Dual Wheel Auto Folding Scooter can be easily folded and unfolded by remote control in under 20 seconds, providing a quick and easy transport solution for users on the go.

Can my scooter be transported on an aeroplane?

Yes. It has a Lithium battery, please contact our technical team for a copy of the MSDS in plenty of time before flying. It is important that you check with your airlines policy relating to the carrying of batteries onboard.

Can it be used as a seat in a motor vehicle?

No, Scooters are not permitted to be used as a seat in a motor vehicle.

Can it be used in the rain?

We don’t recommend that our powered mobility products are stored or used in the rain unless appropriate covering/shelter is used.

Engineers Delivery

For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.

This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.

You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
