Whilst many powered add-ons for wheelchairs have a style and functionality reminiscent of a motorbike’s front wheel, there are a couple of other variants. In particular, there is the classic powerpack. The TGA Powerpack Duo is both a solid performer, and a classic of the genre. Relative to many other fully powered, or hybrid, add-ons, powerpacks are fairly economical. One big reason for this is that they exist much more on the fringes of prescriptive and non-prescriptive.
