LuXe Mobility AtomiX Fold – A New Folding Scooter
2 June 2025 - by Matt Stanfield

A new folding scooter has entered the market, it’s the LuXe Mobility AtomiX Fold. This blog will look at the features of this new folding scooter, and compare it to those of a couple of other popular lightweight folding scooters. Lifestyle & Mobility think this is a great way to explore this new mobility product. So, let’s dive in!

How Lightweight is It?

Well, the AtomiX Fold is 15.2kg without the battery. For this piece, we’re going to compare it to two other lightweight manual folding scooters – the Motion Healthcare mLite and the Drive Manual Fold Plus, as well as two automatic folding scooters, the Motion Healthcare eDrive and the Kymco K-Lite FE. Let’s see how it holds up weight-wise against the other four:

As you can see, it comes in lighter than even the mLite, which is, in itself, a very lightweight product indeed. This chart also shows how much heavier auto-folding mobility scooters are than manual ones. Let’s take a look at another key specification now, moving from scooter weight, to scooter weight capacity.

How Much Weight Will it Take?

LuXe Mobility AtomiX weight capacity

At a 19.7 stone maximum user weight capacity, the AtomiX stands out within the lightweight folding mobility scooter grouping. The eDrive is some way out in front. But, as will become apparent, it is perhaps more of a performance auto-folding scooter than a lightweight one.

What is the Battery Range?

LuXe Mobility AtomiX battery range

The battery range on the LuXe Mobility AtomiX Fold is roughly in line with the other more lightweight folding mobility scooters which we are looking at. As a class, these scooters are not designed for long-distance travel. Again, note that the eDrive has an enhanced range. Though, as mentioned, this is at the cost of being a truly lightweight model.

AtomiX Ground Clearance

LuXe Mobility AtomiX ground clearance

LuXe Mobility scooters tend to have very high ground clearances for their class, and the AtomiX is no exception to this. The clearance is in line with automatic folding, rather than manual folding, mobility scooters. That is to say, it is higher than would be expected.

And there you have it, insight by statistical comparison into one of the newest products we are selling at Lifestyle & Mobility. Thank you for reading!
