Lifestyle & Mobility Lowestoft Celebrates 1st Birthday
22 October 2025 - by Matt Stanfield

Lifestyle & Mobility Lowestoft recently celebrated its first birthday. As an anniversary marking a whole year of serving the local community, this demanded a big event. In this year, the store has developed a close-knit team. And their expertise and dedication to customer care have not gone unnoticed. So, what better time than now to delve a little deeper into the story of our Suffolk store’s first year?

A Store Worth Celebrating

Lifestyle & Mobility Lowestoft - Motability LogoPhysically, the Lowestoft branch may not be the largest amongst the Lifestyle & Mobility family. However, it more than makes up for this with the range of both products and services which it offers. As one of only 3 accredited Motability scooter and powerchair dealers in Suffolk, the branch offers an invaluable service to some of the most vulnerable mobility product users. The store also boasts a fully equipped mobility product service centre. Consequently, customers can be assured that, if their scooter or powerchair has technical issues, the Lowestoft team are there to help.

On the subject of expertise, this store can also carry out the necessary assessment work to fit customers with state-of-the-art prescriptive wheelchairs. It’s not every mobility store which can do this for their clientele. So we take great pride in offering this service in Suffolk.

Keeping Active in the Community

Lifestyle & Mobility Lowestoft - Customer ServiceFittingly for a store that aims to treat customers like members of the family, the Lowestoft branch is deeply rooted in the town’s community. In its first year, several in-store events have been held, with more on the horizon. Highlights of the 2024-2025 calendar include a free mobility scooter “health check” in the store for locals. A product launch in April, offering free one-to-one sessions for those interested in mobility products, was another recent event.

Additionally, the store has been involved in charitable activities. When Lowestoft local Ben Parker set off on a fundraising journey to Land’s End in his manual wheelchair, he made use of store products and was cheered off by Lowestoft staff.

What Will the Future Hold?

As mentioned, the Lowestoft branch prides itself on a family feel and being tightly integrated into life in the town. So, for one thing, the future is intended to hold more involvement with relevant charities. Another surefire prediction is for more free and accessible in-store events.

To sum up, Lifestyle & Mobility Lowestoft relies on a tight-knit group of staff all committed to excellence. This combines with an exceptional ability to provide specialist prescriptive products to customers, makes it a standout in the Suffolk mobility sector.

So, here’s hoping that Lowestoft’s first birthday was as great as it looked, and here’s to many happy returns!
