2025 has been an eventful year for Lifestyle & Mobility, characterised by site moves and new stores, with all the opportunities offered by these changes. Let’s start from the top, with our flagship store – Lifestyle, at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon. This is currently in the last stages of a move to new premises within the same centre. As part of this move, the company has had the chance to expand on some of the home furnishing aspect of the products we offer. In particular, it has offered the chance to expand on the Lifestyle & Homes branch of the business. There’s even a small new suite dedicated to the increasingly popular LuXe Mobility product line we well. So, for Lifestyle & Mobility’s headquarters, 2025 in review can be summed up as “exciting changes ahead of the New Year”

Get ready for more aspirational, stylish, and comfortable furniture offerings going forward at our Basildon store and elsewhere, come 2026! Take a look to your left for some inspiration as to what you can expect.

New Sites, New Services

Lifestyle & Mobility have also been leaning more into what will forever be the core parts of our business. The newly-opened (July 2025) Hatfield store has a dedicated area showcasing some of the unique expertise within the company. That’d be Paralympian Richard Chiassaro’s specialty – prescriptive active sports wheelchairs. Style meets substance in that part of the store. A special mention is due also to Ash at Hatfield for the first-hand active manual chair experience he has been bringing to that location. Something which certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed, or unappreciated, by the customers there.

 A New Location for Lifestyle & Mobility

This winter, Lifestyle & Mobility have been proud to announce the opening of a store in Margate. Occupying a former supermarket site, it is the largest mobility store in the whole of Kent. We expect it to prove a real powerhouse of product knowledge, value, and first-rate customer service.

In short, 2025 has been a year of substantial change for Lifestyle & Mobility, one which we hope will stand us in good stead both from a business perspective, and from the perspective of customer service, come 2026.
