The Magnelite Self Propelled is a wonderfully innovative wheelchair from Motion Healthcare. This self propelled model is a great pick for those who primarily choose to move around on their own. It has larger rear wheels than the transit for this purpose.
Lightweight Magnesium Technology
The lightweight magnesium frame makes the Magnelite Self Propelled the perfect choice for any users wanting to minimise pain and stress. This is a full redesign of previous models. For instance, there is a brand new braking mechanism in place to ensure user safety.
Dismantling and storing this self propelled wheelchair could hardly be easier. There are are removable footrests, wheels and cushions. Plus the backrest and frame themselves are foldable. Other features include flip-up armrests for easy side transfer, a storage bag on the rear of the backrest and lift handles for easy transportation.

Engineer’s Delivery – For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.
This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.
You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
Delivery of Bespoke Made to Order Products
Please note prescriptive/bespoke products can take anywhere between 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered. Your trusted mobility assessor will be able to provide a more accurate lead time on completion of the initial assessment.
