The transportation of many other powerchairs necessitates the disassembly of several components. In contrast, the Atom Power features a compact folding mechanism that allows it to collapse into a single unit, making it suitable for most car boots. This innovative design is truly an all-in-one folding solution.
The stability of the Atom Power is enhanced by its robust carbon fibre and aluminium frame, complemented by large, durable wheels. Automatic electric brakes are activated as soon as the joystick is released. In the event of a low battery, the motors can be switched to neutral, allowing the Atom Power to function conveniently as a transit wheelchair.

Engineer’s Delivery – For an extra £150, your order can be delivered by an engineer within 7-14 working days subject to availability.
This is a good option if you suffer from mobility limitations, live in a rural area or in a second floor flat/apartment, or would just prefer a more personalised delivery experience.
You will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date/time to suit you. On the day of your choice, the engineer will arrive and assemble your product and ensure it’s in full working order. Then they will provide a full demonstration, including charging, preparing and assembling/disassembling your product. The engineer will be happy to answer any of your questions during this time, and will even take all the unnecessary packaging with them when they leave.
Delivery of Bespoke Made to Order Products
Please note prescriptive/bespoke products can take anywhere between 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered. Your trusted mobility assessor will be able to provide a more accurate lead time on completion of the initial assessment.

I really like it. If it weren’t all about things being extremely lightweight – that is – if you were wanting a more Rugged chair, that might be a different story. If it is lightweight-ness though, this can’t be beat in my experience. Just don’t go expecting plush cushioning – this isn’t that sort of chair – and I couldn’t be happier with mine.
