This can also be used for turning patients whilst lying or sitting in bed and rotating them in/out the prone position. If using for long term, you do not need to remove the pad after moving the individual. This Sheet is also helpful if you need to extract patients from a difficult situation or awkward corners. They also reduce the chance of friction on the users skin.
The Smart Sheet can be washed at 75 °C – 100°C, and can be safely autoclaved or chemically sterilised.
