The Signature Comfort is the ultimate care bed for operators wanting to achieve a homely care environment. The bed has a fully upholstered surround with headboard and fabric options.
The Signature Comfort has an extensive height range. It can be raised up to a carer’s waist level to facilitate nursing on the bed and can also be lowered close to the floor to ease getting in and out of bed.
The mattress platform on the bed is fully profiling. The backrest can be raised to a near upright position for sitting up in the bed. The elevating knee-break and footrest provide postural support and improve circulation.
Users can benefit from more room in bed with a choice of wider width options:
– Single (90cm/3ft)
– Wide Single (105cm/3ft6in)
– Small Double (120cm/4ft
The Signature Comfort bed has been thoughtfully styled to be in-keeping with the home environment. The bed’s medical functionality has been softened with a plush, upholstered surround that can be customised with headboard and fabric options.
The Opera® Signature Comfort is controlled through a premium, ergonomically-designed handset with rounded edges and soft-touch buttons. The handset has a locking feature that allows the operator to deactivate all or certain functions where there are safety concerns.
We use highly skilled craftsmen and upholsterers to ensure your bed is finished to the highest standard. The bed is upholstered here in Britain using high quality materials that balance durability with comfort and aesthetics.

FAQs
What happens to my profiling bed in a power cut?
In the event of a power cut, the Opera® profiling beds have a 29v battery back-up which has enough power to get the bed back into a flat position.
Does this bed come with side rails?
The Opera® Signature Comfort Profiling Bed does not have side rails as the footboard is not high enough to accommodate the rails.
Are the fabrics fluid resistant or waterproof?
The fabrics used are a high-quality wool which means they are not fluid resistant or waterproof. If this is something which you are requiring, then our range of faux leathers are a fully waterproof and are a wipe clean surface.
