The LuXe Lilybrooke – Kim’s Favourite
Thanks to many years of experience, our team members have a selection of favourite products to recommend to customers. We recently spoke with Kim, Sales Assistant at the Southend Store, to learn about her favourite product. Kim chose the LuXe Lilybrooke Riser Recliner. Here’s some of what she had to say about why.
Thanks for your time today Kim, would you like to tell us a bit about what is your favourite product and why?
The LuXe Lilybrooke Riser Recliner is a favourite product of mine. It is good for people with arthritis and oedema, with full raising capacity. Considering it isn’t a chair which takes up much space, it has a lot of features in a small package.
Being slimline and compact means that it is useful for putting in a smaller care home room. It is very affordable, particularly considering that it comes with a 5-year warranty for our customers. The maximum user weight again, is impressive for a chair in this class – over 17 stone.
There’s some really nice special features on it. I like the handset a lot actually. The handset is very straightforward and easy to operate. It’s intuitive. There’s other little touches to it that I like. It has a USB port in the arm so that users, friends, and family can all charge devices from it. There’s also a side pocket for storing newspapers, magazines, and books in.
Does the LuXe Lilybrooke have good safety features?
It has nice high sides to grip onto and keep you a bit more in place when rising up. The handset only has two buttons on it to make adjustments to the seat with. Because it’s so intuitive, users don’t end up feeling as if they are overwhelmed by it, and can start enjoying the chair right away.
Are there any boxes in particular which this chair ticks?
The colour choice is something which I like to make customers aware of. Because the Lilybrooke comes in three different colours, it will go well with lots of decor styles. Also, it works nicely in low light conditions, or in the evening, because the handset lights up.
Can you share any customer feedback on this product?
Especially with customers in care homes, we get comments on how, because they are so compact, they don’t dominate rooms. They are a good mix of having proper riser recliner functionality and not taking up too much space.
The space thing is especially important, because sometimes customers overestimate the amount of space which they actually have for these products. That’s why, to make sure that customers get a chair that fits where they are planning to put it, I find it is useful to talk their choice over face-to-face.
How do you think that Lifestyle & Mobility set ourselves apart from the competition?
We offer a very responsive emergency callout service to our in-store customers and our turnaround times are industry-leading. Also, if we were talking about the LuXe Lilybrooke Riser Recliner specifically, in-store buyers get free home delivery on it. That’s useful for making sure that the chair is optimally positioned in a safe way, avoiding trip hazards around it.
When would you most recommend this product to a customer?
Like I said, if the customer needs something which will fit into a smaller space, then the Lilybrooke is a good choice. Also, for first-time riser recliner users, a single motor riser recliner is generally a good choice, because they are the easiest to use.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to Kim from our Southend store for taking the time to speak with us about her favourite product!
